If you’ve seen my work, like my style, and want your own unique piece, I can make it a reality. Whether it’s a “wow-factor” nebula, a favourite landscape or tree captured in paint, or you have an idea or picture in your imagination, I can make your artistic dream come true.
I have twenty years of developing my practice and increasing in skill, maturity and experience in what works and what doesn’t work! The three categories below will explain clearly the subject matter that works best for my style, with real-life examples. The commissioning process is actually quite simple, and fun!
Commissioned paintings are completely one-of-a-kind and impossible to replicate. They make thoughtful gifts with a story attached.
OPTION 1: Commission a Nebula/Cosmic Abstract Oil Painting
Suggested size: 100x75cm or bigger
Suggested medium: Oil on canvas (plus gold leaf if desired, no extra cost)
Time Frame: 4-6 weeks
Price range: £600-£1000 depending on level of complexity
Delivery: £12.50 (UK) Delivery: Europe/USA to be calculated separately
Payment in 3-5 instalments accepted
Especially suits: Living room, bedroom, hall
1 - Get in touch with your favourite photo/s of a nebula or space scene, or allow me to pick one that suits your preferred colours. We can experiment with the colours, movement, texture, areas of detail and empty space. I will do a loose sketch inspired by the nebula. We’ll agree the size, the approximate price and realistic time frame (this depends on my workload and prior commitments).
2 - I’ll start the painting (nebulas suit large canvasses from 75-120cm on each side, to capture the expanse and grandeur as well as all of the tiny details). There are three to four layers, which need breaks of a few days each to allow the oil paint to dry.
3 - After the second or third layer, I will send you photos and also a video with close-ups, so you can see it from various angles. I will talk about the progress of the painting, what it is “saying” to me and mention any areas I feel of particular importance to check with you.
4 - After your feedback I will do the next layer; add any adjustments, details or final stars; an addition of gold leaf on an area if desired. Then I will send another video, and we will continue until you’re happy!
OPTION 2: Commission a Landscape/Seascape/Tree/Flowers
Suggested size: anything up to 120cms one side
Medium: Oil or acrylic on canvas
Time Frame: 2-4 weeks
Price range: £200-£800 depending on level of complexity/size
Delivery: £12.50 (UK) Delivery: Europe/USA to be calculated separately

2 - I’ll send you photos and a short video of the painting’s progress when I think it’s nearly there.
3 - I’ll listen to your feedback and do any tweaks/final details. I’ll send you another photo/video to make sure you’re 100% happy. Then I’ll send an invoice, pack it up with care and send it to you!
OPTION 3: Commission a Watercolour/Drawing
